Job Description:
Vordel is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with their head in the clouds and the ambition to help take our products to the next level. All engineering team members must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding, good communication skills and most of all, enthusiasm for tackling the complex challenges of scale.

Required Skills:

• 5 years plus of proven C++ and Java Development experience in industry
• Rock-solid networking, web, and Unix skills
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure deployment and management
• Experience with build and release management processes
• Experience with monitoring and measurement tools
• Deep understanding of Web Technologies: HTTP, SOA/Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON, WSDL, XPath, XSD

Pluses:

• Experience in an agile development environment
• Experience with unit testing and automated QA
• Obsession with new technologies and open source tools
• Detail-oriented and experimental
• Previous start-up experience.
