Lean on me I won't fall over. Due to our growing customer base, Vordel is looking for a Support Engineer to join our Support Team and who both customers and partners can "lean" on. The job is to provide quality support for Vordel's products with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical expertise and timeliness. The position has frequent contact with customers, partners, peers and managers.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be expected to maintain our exacting standards of customer support
  • You will be given direct engagement with customers and partners to resolve any technical issues they may be experiencing with our products and deployments
Required Skills:
  • At least five years experience in direct technical customer support role in a software/networking/IT security company
  • Recent Technical Support experience will be considered
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for problem resolution.
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent literacy and writing skills of the English language
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to generate strong and lasting relationships with our customers
  • Excellent understanding of SOA, Security, Networks, Protocols and Internet Technologies
  • Cross platform experience Linux, Solaris, Windows
