QA Team lead


Title: QA Team lead

Vordel are looking for "ammunition gathers"; the more data we collect on Vordel's products the more ammunition we have to make informed decisions. We are seeking someone to lead and manage our QA team and help us deliver top quality product on time and to specification to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team of software testers, but still execute all software testing lifecycle responsibilities
  • Drive advancement of quality assurance practices across the organization
  • Planning and managing the test phases of all products
  • Work collaboratively with software development & project management to develop test requirements and plans to ensure thorough test coverage for each product
  • Ensuring the technical solutions exactly match the QA standards and customer requirements

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years commercial QA experience including 5 years in management or team lead role
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, directing and implementing a QA team.
  • Experience with QA processes, QA methodologies, QA artifacts and QA best practice
  • Experience of gathering critical metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive QA process improvements.
  • Working experience in a technology environment.
