Senior Software Engineer – EMEA


Title: Senior Software Engineer
Remuneration: Excellent Package

Vordel is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with their head in the clouds who can help take our products to the next level. All engineering team members must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding, good communication skills, and most of all enthusiasm for tackling the complex problems of scale.

Required Skills:

  • Rock-solid networking, web, and Unix skills
  • Proven years of C++ and Java Development experience in industry
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure deployment and management
  • Experience with build and release management processes
  • Experience with monitoring and measurement tools
  • Deep understanding of Web Technologies: HTTP, SOA/Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON, WSDL, XPath, XSD

Pluses:

  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience with unit testing and automated QA
  • Obsession with new technologies and open source tools
  • Detail-oriented and experimental
  • Previous startup experience.
