The WEEE Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2002/96/EC) (WEEE) is a producer responsibility directive aimed at reducing the waste from electrical equipment, increasing recovery and recycling rates of WEEE and improving environmental performance of all operators involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment.

Vordel in conjunction with our global hardware partner Dell will comply with the WEEE Directive for all relevant countries within the EU. The WEEE Directive is being implemented in each of the 27 EU countries through national legislation.
