Dell to Manufacture Vordel’s XML Networking Appliances Vordel’s VX platform appliance for SOA to be built and delivered by Dell Washington DC and Dublin, Ireland December 22, 2008 - Dell and Vordel, the XML Network management company, announced today that the Vordel XML/SOA appliances will be assembled by the Dell Industrial Solutions Group in their manufacturing facilities. Vordel will leverage Dell’s global manufacturing and world class support infrastructure for maximum effect to speed deployment and minimize Total Cost of Ownership for its customers.

The Vordel VX platform is the solution for customers with demanding XML processing requirements. VX is a turn-key deployment option for both the Vordel XML Gateway and Vordel XML Firewall. The VX consists of Vordel's patented XML acceleration and parallelization technology engine, VXA, on a hardened pre-integrated Dell server line. As well as XML Acceleration, the VX platform also features Web-based and command-line administration, cryptographic acceleration, and a RAID disk array.
