Vordel Siebel Gateway Gives Siebel Users Secure Compliant Access to CRM Data

Vordel (News - Alert), a provider of gateways for SOA and Cloud Computing, announced the availability of Vordel Siebel Gateway (News - Alert), which will enable Siebel users to get compliant access to their CRM data from mobile, desktop and Cloud applications securely.

Vordel provides fast, safe, connectivity for SOA and Cloud Services. Vordel Gateway ensures integration, security, governance, and acceleration for enterprise applications and Cloud based services. It allows enterprises and government agencies to extend their enterprise applications and SOA infrastructure beyond physical limits to enable Cloud based services and mobile computing.

In a release Ed King (News - Alert), Vordel’s VP of Product Marketing, said, “Vordel Siebel Gateway provides Siebel customers a simple single-box gateway solution to enhance the interoperability, security, compliance, and performance of the Siebel service interface. Vordel’s solution is also 100 percent certified interoperable with the Oracle (News - Alert) SOA and Identity and Access Management suites of products. This helps customers with existing Siebel integrations extend support for new Cloud and mobile use cases.”

According to company sources the Vordel Siebel Gateway helps Siebel users to manage application integrations across multiple instances besides being able to solve security, audit, and interoperability problems.

Also by deploying Vordel Siebel Gateway, in front of Siebel SCM enterprises will receive enhanced operational efficiencies cost effectively and also benefit from more revenue streams in the form of Cloud, mobile, and Web 2.0 channels. Vordel Siebel Gateway is available in multiple form factors and is non-intrusive. It can be retrofitted across all Siebel versions and is Oracle certified.

Officials explained that the Vordel Siebel Gateway provides enterprises with secure access to all services inside and outside the enterprise that uses data stored in Siebel. The gateway also allows out-of-the-box integration with major identity management platforms thereby ensuring access control for Siebel data from mobile and Cloud applications.

Vordel Siebel Gateway ensures runtime API transformation letting Siebel interoperate with any system using existing interfaces. It also maintains a complete audit trail across all the integrations to be compatible with PCI (News - Alert) and privacy regulations.
