Vordel and RSA Security partner to provide security for XML and Services Oriented Architectures Vordel products apply RSA ClearTrust access control to XML and Web Services

Vordel was selected due to the solid interoperability of its XML security products with the RSA ClearTrust identity management server, and also because of the company's strong presence in the European marketplace. RSA customers already using ClearTrust for Web access control can now leverage this investment with Vordel's products, to extend ClearTrust security policies to their XML traffic, internally and across the firewall.
Using Vordel's XML gateway and XML security server, security policies contained in ClearTrust can now be applied to XML traffic and SOA networks. With companies finding their first cross-firewall Web Services uses in trusted networks with trading partners, AAA security and identity management is paramount. Vordel and RSA provide the AAA security and identity management essential to the integrity of Web Services.
The solution ensures that security administrators are not required to duplicate their existing policy and identity stores. Vordel's products enforce security policies, configured and managed in RSA ClearTrust, on XML traffic.
