Boston, MA - January 19, 2011 Vordel, a provider of gateways for SOA and the Cloud Computing, today announced it has appointed Ed Jackowiak, former Director of Identity Management Sales at Oracle to the position of Vice President of Sales North America. Jackowiak’s experience includes domestic and international sales and executive management positions at Oracle, Bridgestream, Netegrity, Kavado and others spanning the past 21 years. Jacowiak’s appointment will enable Vordel to further its North American expansion. While at Oracle, Jackowiak was responsible for managing sales in North America for Oracle’s Security products division. He held a similar role with Kavado leading to their acquisition by Protegrity. Whilst at Netegrity he was head of Sales for Canada and the Central and Eastern Regions. Throughout his career Jackowiak has established successful sales relations with many of the world’s leading organizations and has built partnerships with the largest reseller and consulting firms.
"Ed is the right executive at the right time for Vordel. He combines the best of sales excellence, strategic partner management, and is a great fit with Vordel’s innovation-driven and customer-oriented culture," said Vic Morris, CEO, Vordel. "Joining the Vordel team was an easy decision, given their strong global customer-base, world-class product and great positioning spanning the two major trends of SOA and Cloud computing. I am excited to join a fast-paced, high-growth company that is taking this exceptional technology to the market," said Jackowiak.
