Centralized policy management and Governance for SOA

Vordel Policy Director ensures that a policy control framework is applied in an SOA. Changes to policies are all controlled. Previous versions of policies are kept, and policies can easily be rolled back to earlier versions. Each change to a policy is brought under a governance umbrella by ensuring that the change is documented, and a change-detection feature ensures that all changes to policies can be pinpointed. When the time comes to roll out a policy to a live Gateway, control is applied to the process so that only authorized administrators can make policy changes to a live Gateway.
